Eighth Annual Fur-b-que

Now in it's eighth year the Fur-b-que has been bringing furs from all over the region together to the hills over looking the Allegheny River valley. The park and pavillion offer plenty of room for socialization with friends old and new, circles of furry artists to draw inspiration and learn from, or a quiet place to sit and reflect. The event also offers guests the chance to drum up a friendly game of horse shoes, try their skill at Bocce or get involved in a pick up game of volley ball.
Lunch will be served from 12:30 - 1:30. Dinner will be served at 5:00 and will consist of a main course of hamburgers and hot dogs along with cold salads and hot side dishes. Veggie burgers and meatless sides will also be available. Water, iced tea and soft drinks will be kept cold and snacks will be available throughout the event. Cake, pies, cookies and other goodies will tantilize your sweet tooth when you've finished dinner at the hotel.
But that's not all. There are other activities you can look forward to at this years Fur-b-que.
Registration will be open from 12:00PM until 5PM. When you arrive, please go to the Registration table to check in, show your ID, recieve your wrist band and event program.
Help us raise money for a donation to the Beaver County Humane Society! Our raffle includes many items donated by talented artists and artisans! The festivity is emceed by the ever flamboyant Manderin Orange, (aka: Akairashima,) and his supporting cast. Help us break last year's record ticket sales and be happy knowing your donation goes to a great local cause!
Join us for a trip to see the critters without zippers on their fur! We will carpool over to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and um... yeah... (Admission $12)
In the event of rain, we will head over to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History to view world class exhibits [aka: look at REALLY old stuff.] (Admission $15)
Dinner will be at Steak & Shake at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall.
